Almost doesn't feel right to be thinking about racing a Fatbike, but DanOfSubstance let this leak this week (I don't think Julian Assange had anything to do with it...)...

Anyways, yes...looking forward to SubstanceProject's Fatbike Series. (Yes Dan, Fatbike not Fat-Bike). Anyone going to challenge JeffS for the title?? Still not so sure how he is so fast on a Fatbike...but it's always good to ask questions...isn't it??
Anyways, yes it is great that the Fatbike Series will be back...in the meantime SubstanceProjects still has the Sausage Suit ITT coming up on October 15th. Coming up soon, so get in on it!! Will that be the end of XC Mountain Bike race season?
And I guess we are also currently in Cross season...for those of us who do Cross...(Oggie? Unglued?)
Unfortunately, I am not into CX...I prefer to try to stay on my bike...
Put our current weather together with this long weekend...should be an opportunity for some great mountain biking...if you can manage it around the other plans...you know...
With this weather, it's tough to believe it is Thanksgiving!!

Anyways...turkeys are kind of silly looking anyways aren't they? Not to mention...
Anyways, there won't be any turkey cooking at our house...
Which means there won't be any turkey eating...but don't worry...I will still find a way to overdo it...
Regardless of the subject, Lois is always accusing me of overdoing it....
OK...perhaps a good time for a bit of a subject shift??
Speaking of overdoing it...ShEd brewery in Dundas has a couple of new brews; an OktoberShed and a Riesling Harvest Pilsner...may be the perfect weekend to try them out with a well timed ride-by??
Anyways...got to make some epic mtb plans for this weekend. Any suggestions?? Camping? Day trips? Simcoe/Copeland forest?? Turkey Point?? Albion/Palgrave?? Local, Waterdown/Dundas/Christie...and firepit?? Maybe even all of the above!! Anyone want to join??
For today...it is supposed to be nearing 30C!! Perhaps a long epic road ride (ya Raf...you love it!!)...could be the last great one of the season...and apparently I will need the calorie burn. Anyone want to join??
